The Dick Fegy Memorial Page

May 8, 1950 - December 21, 2001

This page is dedicated to Richard Fegy.....

devoted musician, kind friend and dedicated professional.

Richard Fegy was born on Monday, May 8, 1950 in Hartford, Connecticut. He was the son of William J. and Olympia M. Fegy and the brother of Martin Fegy.

A natural and talented musician, Dick played many instruments including the guitar, fiddle, banjo,  and mandolin. Dick's musical career spanned many decades and included work with The Spark Gap Wonder Boys, Windfall with Dave Karp, Crazy Hearts, Cimarron Creek, Lobo Rangers, The Grateful Dudes, Joyce Woodson and The David Bromberg Band. His list of record credits is extensive and can be reached at Dick Fegy's Discograph.

Following a breakout of Carpel Tunnel syndrome, Dick began working at Copyright Clearinghouse/MRI and showed a brilliant talent for musical history information and interesting writing.

The "FEGE" quietly and peacefully passed away at his home in Southern California on December 21, 2001.
