Breaktime.....

Although Saturday saw Rodger at Beyond the Pale rehearsals at 11 am sharp,

Dennis had to soldier on at Mickey's Magic Kingdom in the Billy Hill Show

and both Dennis and Rodger had to work their regular gig at Vincenzo's Pizzeria in Santa Clarita

on Saturday night with their popular bluegrass band, The Grateful Dudes.

Sunday morning rehearsals started at 3 pm sharp with:

8 pm: The First Palers Set [listed below]

          9:20 pm: Apeneck

9:45 pm: The Second Paler Set [also listed below]

in GRAND style!

Rodger and Dennis with Grateful Dudes web-mistress Jan Vincent, and BtP Webmaster Roland Clare.

Monday morning rose bright and sunny [for the time being], as Palers rose from their Sheraton Universal hotel rooms to be at BB King's by 8 am sharp for final rehearsals until noon.

This was followed by two short Paler sets, a lovely talk by George Lovell and a fascinating "Whiter Shade of Pale" Presentation by Neil Fisher. These began at Noon and ended by 4 pm.......

Only 4 more hours until...........

Procol Harum

As the event neared, so did the threat of rain.......

and to think we laughed when we first read

"Rain or Shine" on the ticket stub.....
